Education for the Title & Position Holders Nationwide 2013

For 3 days from June 26th till 28th, there were education meetings for the title and position holders nationwide from each region and for the pastoral staff at the Okcheon Go&Come Institute. The subject of the education was “‘Mother’s Leadership’ for a Happy Family and a Happy Church.” This education was provided to seek the way to please God by being more united in one mind when the world evangelism is speeding up and the church is growing rapidly according to the prophecy.

Through the meetings which began at noon in the main hall of the institute, Mother gave a precious teaching about the attitude of faith, which God’s children should have in this age.

Mother complimented the title and position holders who participated in the gospel diligently even in difficult situations. Also, worrying about the global disasters frequently occurring due to global warming and about the world where love is growing cold owing to the economic crisis, Mother encouraged them, saying, “We need more words of comfort in the time of difficulty. Let’s comfort and be considerate of our heavenly family members as well as our neighbors.”

First of all, Mother emphasized that they can go to heaven when they are spiritually awake, and repeatedly asked them to be always awake in their life of faith. According to Mother’s words, spiritually being awake means doing the gospel work by following the will of God, which concludes in being faithful to God with passionate faith, staying away from evil and idolatry, being thankful always without complaining and grumbling in the spiritual desert of faith (Mk 13:33-37; Rev 2:10; Rev 3:15-16; 1 Co 10:4-12).

In addition, Mother imprinted on their minds the words, “The way to prepare spiritual oil [faith] is to participate in the gospel work with a good mind, being united into one with a single goal for the kingdom of heaven.” Mother also said that God complimented His children with exclamation, saying, “How good and pleasant it is” when “brothers and sisters live together in unity in Zion,” and enlightened them again about the importance of “unity” and “being like-minded” (1 Pe 5:8-10; Ro 13:11-14; Ps 133:1-3).

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol suggested “Mother’s leadership” as the solution for operating a happy family and a happy church through the sermon, saying, “When the title and position holders and all the members take care of and love one another with Mother’s heart, the church becomes a peaceful resting place like a home for souls. The reason now the Church of God is able to stand tall in the world, preaching the gospel of the new covenant with 1.75 million members in 2,200 churches in the world, is thanks to Mother’s leadership which is based on love and sacrifice.”

Reminding them of this fact, Pastor Kim Joo-cheol said, “The love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh, taking the appearance of a servant, served sinners and even laid down His life unsparingly for sinners is like the mind of Mother. The only way to participate in God’s divine nature and become worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven (2 Pe 1:3-11) is to have Mother’s mind.” He also earnestly asked the title and position holders to take care of their members, families, neighbors with a warm mind like “Mother’s mind,” saying, “If we treat each other with Mother’s heart, the unity of brothers and sisters, which pleases God the most, will be naturally accomplished.”
