Education for Children's Teachers for the Second Half of 2006 was held according to the will of God, who wants the children in Zion to be educated through the Bible and to have faith as well as grow healthy both physically and spiritually.

This event was held by the Department of Children of the Head Office to compliment and encourage the teachers to educate the children to display God's glory. On September 3, about 1,600 members gathered in the gymnasium at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute. The attendants included the teachers from the Church of God Kindergartens and from the Sabbath Day Schools, as well as the overseers.

On this day, Mother comforted the teachers and said, It is important to educate the children who will be the pillars of Zion. If you fulfill your mission with love, you will be blessed. Mother told them that the children can grow up right when the teachers educate them with faith, and emphasized that the overseers, teachers and parents should be good examples because the children follow what the adults do and act the same as them. Mother reminded us of the fact that the teachers of the Kindergartens and of the Sabbath Day Schools have been given a mission to lead the children to the righteous way. She told the teachers to teach the children to call them Teacher so that they could maintain order.

The Chief Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim applauded the teachers and said, You yourselves will be trained while teaching the children. Do not just try to teach them knowledge only, but teach them God's love so that they can also spread the fragrance of Zion. Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim told the attendants that many children had given glory to God by impressing their dads through their good deeds. Using the example of Timothy, who was taught by the Bible ever since he was a child and later became a great prophet to help Paul preach overseas, Pastor Kim wished the children of Zion to be raised through God's words and love.

There was a situation play, which suggested a good solution for the difficulties that the teachers often faced. The lecturers emphasized that the teachers should have time for self-improvement to make the children concentrate on the class. They showed how to teach the children according to age categories.

The lecturers also showed how to use the books made for nursery children by the Head Office of the Church of God, and how to teach them with drawings and songs, so that the children could learn to understand others and give in for them and also learn thankfulness and manners. For the elementary school students, the lecture was focused on how to overcome the temptations they face when they turn to junior high school students. Many educational materials, such as videos and books, were suggested.

After the demonstration about how to use the books, the lecturers showed two situation plays on personality training and class preparation. The teachers actively participated in the event, laughing and clapping throughout the whole lecture. The teachers could relate to the plays and found out how to improve their classes. They realized that the attitudes of teachers are as important as those of children.

Lastly, the attendants learned how to compliment the children. Learning how to teach children with a humble mind, the overseers were determined to take care of the children with love and follow the example of Christ's sacrifice.

The teachers said, We give thanks to Mother for Her labor and sacrifice for the 144,000, the spiritual children. First, we will be reborn, then set good examples and teach the children with love and a true heart.

Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them (Mark 10:14 ). The children should be taught with God's love to be led to God.

The children are growing through the teachings of Mother, full of love, and the efforts of the teachers. We see heaven in them.
