Last year when the seeds of gospel were being sowed very quickly in South America-Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Chile-I, who was preaching the gospel in Korea, met some people from Mexico, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. From that time, I decided to plant the seeds of life and find my lost brothers and sisters in Central America.

Finally, God, who was plowing the whole world as the field of gospel as it is written, “In its time I will do this swiftly,” prepared a ground for the gospel here in Mexico. And He didn't forget this child's willingness to preach the gospel and sent me to Mexico with two missionaries.

I arrived in Puebla in Mexico, expecting God's grace to be poured on Central America. I didn't feel strange even though it was a foreign country where I had never been before. I didn't feel afraid either, because I was firmly determined to find my heavenly brothers and sisters in Central America.

As soon as unpacking, I introduced Korean culture to my neighbors and we got to know each other. Though I often had a headache or stomachache by a high pressure, called mountain sickness, I could overcome it, thinking of the great blessing God gave me. The work of gospel in Mexico started like that, under the amazing blessing of God.

As most people in Central America are, over 90% of the Mexicans are Catholic. The Mexicans value human relationship very much, so it was not difficult to get familiar with them. However, when we preached the word of God, they would not open their minds easily for being deluded by the devil.

No matter how hard we preached the new covenant, they didn't accept it. They only treated us as religionists from a foreign country with eyes of lookout. Whenever we were treated like that, I was reminded of Father and Mother, our Creators, who were disregarded countless times by the creatures. Then, I remembered the words that Mother had given me with a bright smile.

“To the Jews, I became like a Jew, to win the Jews” (1 Co. 9:20). “Help your brothers and sisters walk the way of faith with delight, by understanding their situation, not by leading them with your standard of faith. Sacrifice and impression is the best way.” Cherishing these words of Mother on my heart, I tried to become a Mexican to lead them to God. I preached the gospel, having more interest in Mexico and Mexican people.

In ancient time Mexico bloomed gorgeous cultures such as Maya and Aztec. Afterwards, they were under the control of Spain for 300 years until they got independence in 1821. So, most of the Mexicans are bright and passionate like the Spanish, and simple like the old aborigines.

Their religion is Catholic mixed with the aboriginal faith. In most of Mexican shops and houses and gardens, there are an image of Virgin Mary of the Catholic and another image which is ‘Maria of Guadalupe.' The Mexican natives, who got stolen their original religion by Spain, set their own image of deity called ‘Maria of Guadalupe' and have worshipped it.

Despite the Mexican Revolution in 1910 and a lot of other revolutions, people's lives hardly changed. Their economy has been stagnant, not emerging from a developing country.

I thought that we ourselves had to become revolutionists who change the lives of the Mexicans so that they may break the idols and have the truth of life in their minds and dream eternal tomorrow with the hope of heaven. Depending on Mother's words, I began to preach the gospel, thinking, ‘I am a Mexican.'

Then, God opened a door for our message and let us find a lot of brothers and sisters, chosen before the creation.

Daniel's family first entered Zion. Brother Daniel changed into a fellow worker of the gospel who teaches the Bible after one month after being born as a child of God. He earnestly prayed and strived hard to take off his sin and transgression, stubbornness and quick temper after realizing the love of Father and Mother who are sacrificing Themselves with an unbearable pain for children.

Brother Daniel did his best to preach the gospel so that he might repay Father and Mother. God was pleased and blessed him with over 30 fruits just in the last year. He is now being trained in a company called ‘Volkswagen' to get a license which requires up-to-date technology. Though he is busy, he preaches the gospel of the new covenant after training every day; he is an example for all the brothers and sisters here.

Sister Karina and Brother Felipe, who are working as lawyers, are also very good examples. When they heard the new covenant, they were blessed to have the forgiveness of sins and was born as children of God, saying, “How can we, lawyers who are working at a court in the earth, disobey the laws of heaven?” Sister Karina preached the gospel to her son in the United States over the phone for about 3 months, and finally her son visited Zion in New York and became a child of God.

We are in a gracious atmosphere for these two lawyers family are preaching the gospel with an active service after they accepted Heavenly Father and Mother.

And Sister Elena surprised and pleased brothers and sisters as she taught the students and cleaned the chapel and the kitchen even though it was her first time to come to Zion.

Sister Elena attended a church called ‘Evangerlica' before. She had harbored ill feeling against the idol worship of the Catholic and changed her religion. However, in the new church, they said to her that if she didn't buy an expensive preaching book, then she wais not qualified to preach, and they excepted her name from the list of evangelists. She realized that it was not a true church and went out of there, and she was looking for the truth. She was very delighted after accepting true God..

Brothers and sisters in Puebla Zion, who are living in the opposite from where Mother is, desire to see Mother and hope more earnestly than others to return to heaven as soon as possible where we can be with Mother forever.

Suddenly I remember I preached the gospel to a Peruvian at my company 7 years ago. I preached the new covenant, knowing only two words - Sabado (Sabbath) and Pascua (Passover). Later he became a child of God with the help of Father and Mother.

From that time, I studied Spanish and tried very hard to master it, dreaming to preach the gospel in Latin America. It was very difficult for me to pronounce ‘RR' I couldn't memorize words, so I stuck all the new words and phrases on the wall. When I had an opportunity to learn Spanish from a foreigner, I memorized a sentence 50 to 100 times. It often happened to bumped into someone as I was absorbed in memorizing new words, and then people seemed to regard me strange. Now, I can teach the Bible in Spanish. There has been a great help of God until now. I give thanks to Father and Mother who always help me and lead me invisibly.

Mother said that it is how we complete the world mission to do our best in the place where we are. I, however, hope you all can say, “Here am I, send me!” when God calls you and says to you, “Go.” I give greetings to you with the love of brothers and sisters in Puebla.
