The members in Daejeon city had the joy of holding the dedication service in the beginning of the new year. On January 15, 2013, in the evening, the dedication service for the Jeongnim Church in Daejeon was held along with the Third-day service.

About 1,500 members, including the members from nearby Zions, participated in the dedication service. Mother gave thanks to Father for allowing them to hold the dedication service and the Third-day service together, and She prayed for the Jeongnim Church to be filled with good fruits. Mother praised the efforts of the members who received a temple from Father through their unity, and asked them to give glory to God by showing good examples to society so that they can produce a lot of gospel workers who will lead many souls to salvation. Mother also hoped that all the Churches of God in Daejeon would be filled with good fruits and that all the members would go to heaven together with their loving ones. Mother also asked them to overcome their difficulties on this earth with the hope for heaven.

Through a sermon, General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol said that the early Church was built on the rock of faith of receiving God in the flesh, and he also put an emphasis on the fact that the church which believes in God the Father and God the Mother―the Spirit and the Bride who have come to save humankind in this age―has life that “the gates of Hades cannot overcome” (Mt 16:16-19; Rev 22:17). Pastor Kim Joo-cheol encouraged the members to feel proud to be the saints who have received the keys of the kingdom of heaven and to diligently testify to God the Father and God the Mother in Daejeon and to the whole world.

The Jeongnim Church is located in Jeongnim-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon-si, Korea, and it was established as the 2nd Seogu Church, the 4th Seogu Church and the 3rd Junggu Church in Daejeon have combined together and become enlarged. The church building has six floors above ground and one underground level. The floor area of the building is about 43,000 ft2 and it has various spaces including a main worship hall, a fellowship room, education rooms, a multipurpose hall, an office room, a cafeteria, a parking lot, etc. It used to be a famous wedding hall, so some members have good memories about this place where they had their wedding ceremonies or joyful family events.

The members gave thanks to God for blessing them with the dedication service, and said, “Since God has established the church which the gates of Hades cannot overcome, we will diligently boast about the Holy Spirit and the Bride who give us the water of life and will invite people, who are thirsty for life, to the heavenly wedding banquet.” The members of the Jeongnim Church believe that God has given them a big and beautiful temple because they have to quickly find their lost heavenly family members without leaving any empty space. They are making a great effort to be reborn and become beautiful both outwardly and inwardly and to deliver hope for heaven and God’s love to people around them.
