At 2p.m., Aug. 27, Jacques Rogge (61, Belgium), President of the International Olympic Committee, arrived at Daegu Airport, being warmly welcomed by the supporters for Belgium team.
Lee Woo-Seop, Pastor of Church of God and Vice-Chairman of Belgium Support Team, received IOC President Rogge at the airport, along with Park Sang-ha Chairman of DUOC's Executive Committee. He presented a bunch of flowers to IOC President Rogge, on behalf of the supporters.

On Aug. 28, IOC President Rogge will take a honor's degree at Yeongnam University and visit round the competition venues.

Supporters for Belgium, who welcomed IOC President at the special request of the Universiade Organizing Committee, are expected to support Belgium players at the athletic games to be held in Universiade Main Stadium on Aug. 28.
